Job description
This role supports Sallaās Controllership Department by executing and coordinating cross-department financial operations, ensuring accurate handling of e-payment transfers, COD settlements, weight correction cases, and manual financial shipping operations. The specialist serves as the primary point of contact for Jira requests directed to Controllership, overseeing case review, assignment, tracking, and full-resolution workflows. The position requires strong accounting principles knowledge to reconcile, validate, and document financial data related to merchants, shipping, and payment activities while maintaining internal compliance controls. It supports merchant activation tracking, interdepartmental alignment between controllership, operations, and product teams, and contributes to process improvements by identifying financial workflow gaps and recommending operational enhancements. Using Microsoft Excel, ERP systems such as Oracle NetSuite, and Jira, the specialist prepares periodic reports summarizing financial and operational activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to internal procedures. Experience in e-commerce or SaaS financial operations is advantageous, with an emphasis on operating effectively in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.

- Monitor merchant activations with responsible teams to ensure accurate and timely execution
- Coordinate interdepartmental financial operations to align controllership, operations, and product teams
- Support reconciliation and validation of financial data related to merchants, shipping, and payment activities
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with internal financial controls and procedures
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency
- Prepare periodic reports summarizing financial and operational activities
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3ā5 yearsā experience in accounting or financial operations
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel including formulas, pivots, and data validation
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial workflows
- Excellent cross-department communication and coordination skills
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities with attention to detail
- Good command of English, written and verbal
- Ability to work full-time on-site in the Makkah office
- Experience with Jira or other ticketing systems is preferred
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle NetSuite is preferred
- Exposure to e-commerce or SaaS financial operations is an advantage
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
