Based in Abu Dhabi (with postings across Jordan, UAE, and KSA), the Consultant | Cyber | Emerging Technology – AI role at Deloitte focuses on developing, implementing, and maintaining AI governance frameworks, policies, and standards aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements; identifying, assessing, and managing risks related to AI systems (ethical, operational, legal, reputational); collaborating with AI development, data science, legal, compliance, and business teams to embed governance and risk management throughout the AI lifecycle; monitoring emerging AI regulations, standards, and ethical guidelines to ensure organizational compliance and proactive risk mitigation; conducting risk assessments and audits of AI models, algorithms, and data usage to identify potential biases, fairness issues, and security vulnerabilities; providing guidance and training to stakeholders on AI governance principles, risk management practices, and responsible AI use; supporting incident response and remediation related to AI system failures or governance breaches; preparing reports and presentations for senior management and governance committees on AI risk posture and compliance status; and promoting a culture of responsible AI use and continuous improvement in governance practices. The position emphasizes knowledge of GDPR, the EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001, and other emerging AI governance guidelines, strong analytical and communication capabilities, and the ability to translate complex technical and regulatory concepts into actionable guidance.
