Job description
KBR is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to support a major ADNOC project in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role is responsible for overseeing all site construction activities, ensuring contractor performance, and maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards. The Construction Manager will coordinate closely with engineering and project management teams to ensure successful project execution in line with ADNOC requirements. The ideal candidate brings over 20 years of experience in FEED and EPC contract execution within the Oil & Gas industry, including at least 5 years of GCC experience and prior leadership roles on international mega projects exceeding USD 1 billion.

Key responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Supervise and evaluate contractor performance, ensuring compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements.
- Ensure strict adherence to HSE standards, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to align construction activities with project objectives.
- Manage execution of FEED and EPC phases for large-scale Oil & Gas projects.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure effective cost and time control.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate construction-related risks and operational challenges.
- Lead site teams and foster collaboration across multidisciplinary stakeholders to achieve project milestones.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (mandatory).
- Minimum 20+ years of overall experience in execution of FEED and EPC contracts within the Oil & Gas industry.
- At least 5+ years of experience in a similar Construction Manager role on international major Oil & Gas EPC projects.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience within the GCC region.
- Proven experience managing mega Oil & Gas projects valued at more than USD 1 billion.
- Strong leadership, contractor management, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- In-depth knowledge of ADNOC standards and GCC regulatory requirements is preferred.
