The Graphic Designer (Marketing Interior Design & Branding) within the Commercial Division at Gulf Air Headquarters in Bahrain is responsible for conceptualising, designing, creating and developing artwork for all marketing interior design requirements across the organisation. The role ensures that design across sales offices, airport counters and aircraft interior is executed in accordance with corporate and brand guidelines, while upholding brand integrity both internally and externally in all forms of communications. Working closely with the Marketing team and serving the needs of the Commercial department as a priority, the position provides creative inspiration for branding campaigns aligned with overall plans set by the Senior Manager Marketing and Manager Creative Services. The role includes creating innovative yet practical interior design concepts using 3D software and developing conceptual sketches and designs using 3D programmes for retail outlets, lounges, sales offices and aircraft interior. The Graphic Designer researches, consults and explores innovative and cost effective new material, fabric, leather, wood and marble finishes, visualises and produces initial concepts, assists the Creative Services Manager in creating and designing all internal artwork prior to production, and supports illustration and graphic design requirements as needed. The role liaises with various sections within the Gulf Air Marketing Department to support through the line activities from advertising to POS and event branding, assists in implementing consistent branding across signage, advertising, POS and other channels, maintains the Corporate Basic Rules, supports Procurement and HR in artwork development, conducts project work and other assigned duties, and works under heavy time pressure and long hours to ensure on-time delivery.

Key responsibilities
- Conceptualise, design, create and develop artwork for all marketing interior design requirements across sales offices, airport counters, retail outlets, lounges and aircraft interior in alignment with corporate and brand guidelines.
- Create innovative yet practical interior design concepts using 3D software and develop conceptual sketches and designs using 3D programmes for retail outlets, lounges, sales offices and aircraft interior environments.
- Ensure that all designs across sales offices, airport counters and aircraft interior strictly adhere to corporate and brand guidelines and uphold brand integrity internally and externally in all forms of communications.
- Provide creative inspiration for branding campaigns in line with overall plans set by the Senior Manager Marketing and Manager Creative Services, ensuring alignment with Commercial department priorities.
- Research, consult and explore innovative and cost effective new material, fabric, leather, wood and marble finishes to enhance interior design concepts and ensure practicality and feasibility prior to production.
- Visualise, conceive and produce initial concepts and assist the Creative Services Manager in the creation and design of all internal artwork prior to production, including illustration and graphic design requirements as needed.
- Liaise with various sections within the Gulf Air Marketing Department to understand requirements for artworks supporting through the line activities from advertising to POS and event branding, and assist in implementing consistent branding across signage, advertising, POS and other channels while maintaining the Corporate Basic Rules.
- Support Procurement, HR and other business areas in artwork development when required, conduct project work and other reasonable duties as assigned, and work under heavy time pressure and extended hours to ensure on-time delivery of projects.
Experience & skills
- Obtain education equivalent to a Diploma in Multi Media Applications, Animations and (or) other graphic application software relevant to graphic design and interior design concept development.
- Demonstrate the ability to create free hand sketches as an essential requirement for conceptualising and presenting interior design and artwork concepts.
- Possess 3–5 years proven relevant experience in the field of graphic design, specifically involving conceptual sketches, interior design concepts and artwork production.
- Exhibit proficiency in 3D software and 3D programmes for the development of conceptual sketches and designs for retail outlets, lounges, sales offices and aircraft interior.
- Show practical knowledge of Multi Media Applications, Animations, graphic application software and Multi-Media applications currently used within the organisation and be able to implement required work accordingly.
- Demonstrate experience in illustration, graphic design and internal artwork creation prior to production, including support for advertising, POS and event branding materials.
- Display understanding of corporate and brand guidelines, Corporate Basic Rules and consistent branding implementation across signage, advertising, POS and other channels.
- Provide required application documents including Resume/CV, passport-size photograph, passport copy and qualification documents as part of the application process.
