The Senior Manager – Social Media & Content will take full ownership of BYD KSA’s end-to-end social media strategy, influencer marketing, and content ecosystem to deliver strong brand storytelling, cultural relevance, and consistent execution across all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, and LinkedIn. The role owns platform roles, content pillars, tone of voice, and storytelling frameworks, ensuring alignment with brand strategy, product launches, campaigns, and activations. While paid social media buying and performance management sit with other marketing functions, this role closely supports paid social by defining strategy, narratives, content direction, and social-first assets to ensure alignment across organic and paid channels, and by supplying high-quality creative assets and narratives to support paid social campaigns. The role owns social content ideation, planning, and creation, including always-on, campaign-based, and launch-specific content calendars; ensures content is on-brand, culturally relevant, and platform-native; and leads creation of platform-native social-first assets. The role owns BYD KSA’s influencer / KOL strategy aligned with brand and campaign objectives, including identifying, onboarding, and managing relevant Saudi-based influencers / KOLs, creators, and KOCs; defining briefs, usage rights, timelines, and deliverables; ensuring influencer content aligns with brand guidelines, messaging, and cultural expectations; and coordinating content to amplify launches, events, showroom openings, and campaigns. The role leads creative & production management by briefing and managing content creators/KOLs, videographers, photographers, editors, and social/influencer agencies and/or an in-house setup; leading content shoots and influencer/KOL activations; and overseeing post-production and fast-turnaround content workflows. The role owns BYD KSA’s brand voice across social media channels and oversees moderation, community engagement, and response frameworks, coordinating with PR and CX on issues management and escalation. The role collaborates cross-functionally with the Senior Marketing Manager and Digital Marketing Manager to align influencer and content strategies with paid social; ensures messaging, creative direction, and storytelling are consistent across organic, influencer, and paid social; and collaborates with MarComms, PR, CX, Product, Events, and wider BYD KSA teams for integrated execution. Reporting responsibilities include tracking and reporting organic social and influencer KPIs such as reach, engagement, growth, sentiment, and content performance; using insights to optimize content formats, influencer mix, and storytelling; and sharing learnings with the paid media team to improve overall social effectiveness. Required background includes an agency background specializing on Social & Content, strong knowledge and practice of social platforms with mandatory focus on TikTok, Meta, Snapchat, LinkedIn, and X, experience with customer-facing and back-end platforms, and a minimum of 3 years of Social Media & Content experience. - Own and lead BYD KSA’s end-to-end social media strategy across all social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)

- Supply high-quality creative assets and narratives to support paid social campaigns while aligning messaging and storytelling across organic, influencer, and paid social
- Own BYD KSA’s influencer / KOL strategy aligned with brand and campaign objectives and identify, onboard, and manage Saudi-based influencers / KOLs, creators, and KOCs
- Define influencer briefs, usage rights, timelines, and deliverables and ensure influencer content aligns with brand guidelines, messaging, and cultural expectations
- Coordinate influencer and social content to amplify launches, events, showroom openings, and campaigns
- Brief and manage content creators/KOLs, videographers, photographers, editors, and social/influencer agencies and/or in-house setup and lead content shoots and influencer/KOL activations
- Oversee post-production and fast-turnaround content workflows and maintain consistent execution across the content ecosystem
- Own BYD KSA’s brand voice across social media channels and oversee moderation, community engagement, and response frameworks
- Coordinate with PR and CX on issues management and escalation and collaborate with MarComms, PR, CX, Product, Events, and wider BYD KSA teams for integrated execution
- Work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager and Digital Marketing Manager to align influencer and content strategies with paid social and ensure consistent creative direction and storytelling
- Track and report on organic social and influencer KPIs (reach, engagement, growth, sentiment, content performance) and use insights to optimize content formats, influencer mix, and storytelling
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor’s in Marketing or Advertising
- Bring a minimum of 3 years of Social Media & Content experience
- Demonstrate strong knowledge and practice of social platforms with mandatory focus on TikTok, Meta, Snapchat, LinkedIn, and X
- Have experience with customer-facing and back-end platforms
- Come from an agency background specializing on Social & Content
- Be able to support paid social functions by defining strategy, narratives, content direction, and providing high-quality creative assets for paid social campaigns even when paid buying/performance sits elsewhere
- Show capability to manage influencer / KOL / creator / KOC onboarding, briefs, usage rights, timelines, deliverables, and brand guideline compliance aligned with cultural expectations
- Be able to manage production resources including content creators/KOLs, videographers, photographers, editors, and social/influencer agencies or an in-house setup, including post-production and fast-turnaround workflows
- Be able to own community management including moderation, community engagement, response frameworks, and coordination with PR and CX for issues management and escalation
- Be able to track and report organic social and influencer KPIs including reach, engagement, growth, sentiment, and content performance and use insights to optimize content formats, influencer mix, and storytelling
- Preferably be an Arabic speaker
