The position requires coordination with internal departments, clients, external agencies, auditors, and third-party organizations, conducting internal quality audits, interdisciplinary checks, factory acceptance tests, inspections, and participation in process and safety workshops. The Lead Engineer manages material engineering tasks including purchase specifications, purchase requisitions, technical bid evaluations, vendor document reviews, and ensures compliance with IEC, ISA, API, NFPA, IEEE, client standards such as Shell and Saudi Aramco, and classification society rules including ABS, DNV, and GL. The role demands hands-on experience with ETAP, InstruCalc, and InTools, strong knowledge of ISO 9001, familiarity with API Q1, API 4F, and API 16C standards especially for LRS projects, and involvement in operations, commissioning, hook-up, completions, recruitment, training, mentoring junior engineers, standardizing software and procedures, and achieving departmental key performance indicators.
