Job description

The Senior Network Specialist (Network Infrastructure & Security) based on-site in Sulaibiya, Al Jahrrā’, Kuwait, is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s network infrastructure. The role involves close collaboration with the IT team to ensure the network environment meets organizational needs while remaining secure, reliable, and optimized for performance. Key functions include designing and implementing network solutions based on business requirements; configuring and maintaining network equipment including switches, routers, and firewalls; and monitoring and optimizing network performance. The position performs routine network maintenance tasks such as software upgrades and patch management, troubleshoots network issues using network monitoring and troubleshooting tools, and provides timely technical support and resolution. The role requires strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs, along with experience in network security technologies and adherence to security best practices. The Senior Network Specialist is expected to stay up to date with the latest network technologies and trends, ensure seamless integration of network infrastructure with other IT systems, and support overall network administration within a secure and high-performing enterprise environment.
