Job description
Responsible for preparing both seasonal and day-to-day fixed resource allocation plans at the airport, including conducting capacity reviews to support operational efficiency. The role collaborates with various MATAR divisions to ensure accurate resource-related data and allocation rules across flight scheduling and resource management systems. It also involves data reconciliation, traffic forecasting, and performance reporting to support decision-making at multiple organizational levels.

Key responsibilities
- Conducts seasonal and regular resource and capacity review studies using flight schedules from QR Corporate Planning and Slot Coordination.
- Creates allocation plans for special conditions such as holidays, events, or facility impairments.
- Runs and maintains airport capacity and demand models to generate traffic forecasts for various time frames.
- Provides resource allocation guidelines for stands, gates, and check-in counters to MATAR AOCC and stakeholders.
- Ensures schedule accuracy by modifying seasonal resource plans in coordination with Slot Coordination and operators.
- Updates Airport Resource Management Software with changes to stand manuals, rules, and constraints.
- Validates software changes for safety and operational compliance using AOM and SOM references.
- Maintains complete and accurate airport traffic records in FIPLAN, covering passengers, cargo, mail, and aircraft movements.
- Compiles reports on airport traffic and operational performance using reporting tools.
- Supports financial and operational reviews with analytical insights and data.
- Performs other department-related duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās Degree or Equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years of job-related experience in fixed resource allocation planning.
- Excellent knowledge of resource allocation software modelling and use.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge and understanding of ICAO Annex 14.
