The Fabrication Project Engineer at Saipem SpA Abu Dhabi Branch is responsible for supporting both bidding and project execution phases for engineering services in the energy infrastructure sector. The role involves developing techno-economic models of industrial complexes, including Linear Programming, and preparing economic evaluations for technology selection and competitive analysis. During bidding, responsibilities include analyzing tenders and contracts, preparing execution plans and organizational charts, estimating project costs including manpower and equipment, and supporting subcontract quotation assessments. In project execution, the engineer supports planning, resource allocation, subcontracting, man-hour assessments, and report preparation. The role coordinates with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning teams, and manages project documentation, spare parts, and interfaces. Additional duties include supporting client and vendor interactions, managing change orders, claims, and invoicing activities, coordinating risk analysis, ensuring material availability, and implementing management information systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project, and fluency in English are required, along with 5–10 years of experience in fabrication engineering.
