Job description
A leading investment banking firm in Sharjah is seeking a Senior Officer for Financial Institutions Onboarding. This role is responsible for managing the full onboarding lifecycle for FI clients, ensuring smooth coordination among internal departments and external stakeholders. The candidate will leverage expertise in KYC, credit, and financial products to support seamless onboarding, additional product setup, and risk compliance. The position includes conducting due diligence, financial modeling, and supporting investment and trade finance decisions. The successful applicant will also prepare documentation for Investment Committee reviews and contribute to broader operational efficiency in client onboarding.

Key responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the FI onboarding process from initial hand-off to final handover, ensuring smooth communication with all stakeholders.
- Maintain deep understanding of KYC, product structuring, and credit processes to support onboarding and additional product setup.
- Conduct due diligence, financial analysis, and modeling for financing and investment evaluations.
- Prepare Investment Committee proposals and memos including return analysis and market insights when needed.
- Support trade finance operations and contribute to seamless execution of transactions.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure compliance and timely onboarding of FI clients.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Finance, Banking Science, or Financial Management.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a related financial or banking role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; working knowledge of Arabic preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools at an expert level.
- Strong understanding of KYC, credit processes, and financial institution product structures.
- Experience in financial analysis, modeling, and preparing investment documentation.
