Job description
This role brings the IKEA vision to life through functional, aesthetic, and commercially viable design solutions for both B2C and B2B clients. The B2C Planning Advisor is responsible for designing personalized layouts, mood boards, and 3D visualizations using the IKEA product range, ensuring solutions are tailored to the clientâs needs, budget, and space constraints. The role requires strong creative judgment, deep product knowledge, and the ability to translate customer insights into practical home and business environments. The job includes collaborating with B2B clientsâsuch as restaurants and officesâto create commercially aligned design proposals and supporting sales teams to secure contracts. Cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, and customer service teams ensures seamless project execution. The role contributes directly to customer satisfaction, sales performance, and strengthening IKEAâs market position through trend-aware and sustainable design practices.

- Develop functional, relevant, and commercial interior design solutions using IKEA products
- Conduct consultations to understand customer needs, budgets, and space limitations
- Create layouts, mood boards, and 3D visualizations for residential and commercial projects

Experience & skills
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design or related field
- 2â3 years of experience in interior design with strong space planning focus
- Knowledge of IKEA products, design principles, and functionality
- Expertise in AutoCAD, SketchUp, REVIT, and related design tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced retail environments
- Capability to design for both B2C and B2B clients
- Passion for creating functional, aesthetically pleasing spaces
