Job description
The IB - EM Credit Flow Sales MENA role based in Dubai focuses on providing senior-level coverage for institutional clients across the MENA region, including Banks, Central Banks, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Asset Managers, and Hedge Funds. The position is part of Deutsche Bank’s Institutional Client Group (ICG), which offers global sales and advisory across multiple asset classes. The role requires managing and expanding flow credit product coverage, maintaining strong institutional client relationships, staying ahead of market trends, and collaborating closely with trading teams to execute the sales strategy. Responsibilities include primary execution, secondary flows management, deployment of sales strategy, identifying market opportunities, operational risk mitigation, and engagement with regional and global teams to support business growth and seamless execution.

Key responsibilities
- Provide senior coverage across the credit spectrum to institutional clients in MENA, including Banks, Central Banks, Sovereign Wealth Funds, and Asset Managers, focusing on expanding flow credit coverage.
- Maintain and grow strong client relationships, proactively identifying opportunities and engaging clients for primary execution and secondary flow transactions.
- Collaborate closely with trading teams to implement sales strategies, align on market insights, and optimize execution of flow credit products.
- Monitor market trends, client demand, and regulatory developments to anticipate opportunities and provide timely advisory to clients.
- Engage with regional and global teams to coordinate client coverage, support business expansion, and deliver seamless client execution.
- Ensure operational risk is minimized by liaising effectively with middle and back office teams for smooth execution of trades and transactions.
- Source and secure new key accounts independently, leveraging existing relationships and market knowledge.
- Participate in client pitches, meetings, and presentations to reinforce Deutsche Bank’s position as a trusted partner and thought leader in credit flow solutions.
Experience & skills
- 6+ years of institutional credit sales experience at top-tier international investment banks, with strong expertise in flow credit products.
- Demonstrated client coverage experience in a strategy-based sales model, specifically for MENA clients.
- Proven ability to maintain excellent client relationships with Banks, Central Banks, Sovereign Wealth Funds, and Asset Managers across the MENA region.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in French or Arabic is advantageous for client interaction across the region.
- Strong knowledge of market trends, regulatory landscape, and investment banking credit products relevant to institutional clients.
- Ability to interact effectively and collaborate with regional and global teams, supporting cross-border business development and execution.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to provide strategic insights and deliver high-quality client service.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the capability to identify opportunities, close deals, and drive business growth independently.
