Job description
The Creative Director at Minimalist.ae will own and lead the brandās creative vision, driving the development of visually striking, emotionally resonant, and strategically aligned content across all digital platforms. This role blends artistic direction, digital marketing strategy, and leadership to strengthen Minimalistās identity as a premium homegrown fashion and lifestyle brand. Reporting directly to senior leadership, the Creative Director will guide all creative output ā from campaign ideation to execution ā ensuring every visual, video, and message reinforces Minimalistās commitment to elegance, simplicity, and timeless design. This is a hands-on creative leadership position within a fast-growing UAE brand recognized for its refined aesthetic and Arabic numeral watch collections.

Key responsibilities
- Define and drive the creative direction of Minimalistās visual identity across all digital and social channels.
- Lead the ideation, planning, and execution of brand campaigns, product launches, and storytelling initiatives.
- Oversee creative production across video, photography, motion graphics, and graphic design, ensuring consistency with brand aesthetics.
- Develop and implement a cohesive visual strategy for social platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, and Facebook.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to translate strategic goals into compelling creative content.
- Supervise the end-to-end video production process ā from concept and scripting to shooting and editing ā maintaining the brandās elegant tone.
- Stay on top of global digital trends, emerging content formats, and platform algorithms to maintain audience engagement and creative relevance.
- Mentor and direct content creators, designers, and editors to elevate visual standards and storytelling quality.
- Oversee and approve creative assets for paid and organic campaigns, ensuring design excellence and brand alignment.
- Analyze content performance and provide creative recommendations for improved engagement and ROI.
- Partner with product and retail teams to align creative direction with merchandising and store-level initiatives.
- Represent and evolve Minimalistās creative voice, ensuring it reflects both the brandās heritage and its forward-thinking innovation.
Experience & skills
- 2ā5 years of experience in creative direction, social media content creation, or brand marketing ā ideally within fashion, lifestyle, or eCommerce sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to lead digital creative strategy and visual storytelling that drives brand engagement.
- Strong portfolio showcasing experience across digital campaigns, photography, and video production.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects) or equivalent creative tools.
- Experience managing social media platforms and developing content calendars across Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Familiarity with Klaviyo, Hootsuite, and other social media and content scheduling platforms.
- Excellent creative judgment with a sharp eye for composition, lighting, typography, and aesthetic coherence.
- Strong understanding of digital audiences, engagement trends, and influencer ecosystems in the GCC region.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills; fluency in English required, Arabic is a strong plus.
- Bachelorās degree in Marketing, Communications, Visual Arts, Media, or a related creative discipline.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver under tight timelines.
- Passion for minimalist design principles and the fashion/lifestyle retail space.
