Job description
Turner & Townsend is seeking an Associate Director – MEP (Infrastructure) to lead and mentor an M&E cost management team in Dubai. The role involves acting as the primary client interface, ensuring client objectives are achieved through the delivery of high-quality cost management services. Responsibilities include managing estimating and cost planning activities, preparing and presenting final cost plans, producing monthly post-contract cost reports, and leading value engineering and life cycle costing exercises. The position requires critical analysis of project requirements to propose creative solutions, team leadership to ensure delivery of accountabilities, and identifying opportunities to improve cost management procedures and outputs. Candidates must hold a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Engineering, with more than 15 years of work experience, ideally from a consultancy background. Expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, experience in infrastructure projects with a focus on aviation, strong communication skills, and client-facing capabilities in business development, value management, and advisory services are essential.

Key responsibilities
- Lead and mentor an M&E cost management team to ensure delivery of high-quality services

Experience & skills
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
- More than 15 years of relevant work experience
- Consultancy background with mechanical and electrical (M&E) expertise
- Experience working on infrastructure projects, particularly in the aviation sector
- Strong communication skills
- Proven experience in client management and client-facing roles
- Business development skills and advisory capabilities in value management, value engineering, and life cycle costing
