Job description
Property Finder, the leading real estate portal in the MENA region, is seeking an experienced iOS Engineer to design, develop, and deliver high-quality mobile applications. The role involves leading architecture decisions, implementing best coding practices, and ensuring optimal user experience. The engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product, design, and data to translate requirements into robust technical solutions. Responsibilities include owning the full development lifecycle, from technical specifications to App Store deployment, and coaching junior engineers. The position emphasizes excellence in Swift, SwiftUI, Combine, and Async/Await, performance optimization, accessibility, and CI/CD practices using tools such as Azure DevOps, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions. The iOS Engineer will also participate in product strategy discussions and play a key role in shaping the mobile experience for millions of users in the MENA real estate market.

Key responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, Combine, and Async/Await.
- Own technical decisions related to frameworks, libraries, design patterns, and CI/CD processes for mobile development.
- Set architecture and quality standards, define best coding practices, and ensure maintainable and scalable codebases.
- Participate fully in product development, translating product requirements into technical specifications and implementing high-quality features.
- Coach and mentor fellow engineers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical guidance.
- Monitor app performance, conduct benchmarking, and optimize for efficiency, responsiveness, and user experience.
- Collaborate closely with product management, design, and other engineering teams to deliver seamless and innovative mobile solutions.
- Ensure accessibility standards are met, and user interfaces are intuitive, visually appealing, and aligned with UX guidelines.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and automated testing to ensure high-quality and timely app releases.
- Leverage A/B testing and feature flags to iterate on features and enhance app engagement and performance.
Experience & skills
- 5+ years of experience as an iOS developer with a proven track record of shipping high-quality applications.
- Expert-level proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, Combine, and Async/Await.
- Strong affinity for design and UX with excellent UI implementation skills and attention to accessibility.
- Computer Science degree or equivalent education in a related technical field.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions.
- Hands-on experience with A/B testing, feature flags, and performance monitoring for mobile apps.
- Self-directed, analytical, highly responsible, and a collaborative team player capable of mentoring others.
- Ability to make informed technical decisions, define architecture standards, and contribute to product strategy.
