Job description
The Manufacturing Performance Expert will enhance downstream assetsâ overall performance within Saudi Aramcoâs Global Manufacturing Excellence (GME) framework. Reporting to the Technology & Manufacturing Oversight Department (T&MOD), the role involves coordinating across Saudi Aramco Downstream portfolio assets including refining, petrochemical, and NGL facilities. The position focuses on Digitalization & Technology Management, Knowledge Management, and Performance Management programs, ensuring alignment with GME strategy. Responsibilities include collecting, maintaining, analyzing, and presenting operational and financial performance data, benchmarking assets against industry standards and internal data (Solomon benchmarks preferred), conducting full potential assessments, gap studies, and developing dashboards and reporting tools. The role requires staying updated with global and regional downstream industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes impacting assets performance. Impact includes providing strategic recommendations, mitigating risks, and enhancing long-term asset performance while facilitating communication and collaboration between GME and assigned asset teams.

Key responsibilities
- Act as a central point of contact for asset teams, facilitating communication and information sharing between GME and assigned assets
- Design standardized methodologies to collect, maintain, analyze, and present assetsâ operational and financial performance data
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with assigned asset teams across Saudi Aramco Downstream portfolio assets
- Monitor and manage or coordinate information requests, assessments and site visits between GME and the Saudi Aramco Downstream portfolio assets
- Collect, track and provide asset data and performance metrics and collaborate with relevant teams to proactively identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for enhancement
- Identify and manage potential risks associated with assigned assets performance
- Prepare presentations and reports to communicate GME programs, initiatives, and strategies to assigned asset teams and senior leadership
- Analyze and evaluate the financial and operational performance of Saudi Aramcoâs downstream assets including CASH OPEX, turnarounds performance, and maintenance costs
- Benchmark assetsâ performance against industry leaders and other Saudi Aramco downstream assets using standard Oil & Gas performance benchmarks (Solomon benchmarks preferred) and internal performance data
- Create and maintain models for reporting manufacturing and financial results and conduct regular full potential assessments and gap studies of downstream assets
- Participate in the development of assets performance dashboards and reporting tools
- Stay up-to-date with global and regional Downstream industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes impacting assets performance
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with knowledge in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Have 10 years of asset management or related experience within the downstream oil & gas industry
- Possess experience in Downstream Oil & Gas business benchmarking and performance management frameworks such as Solomon or RAM
- Demonstrate experience in leading cross-functional initiatives and managing high-level stakeholder relationships
- Show strong understanding of downstream oil & gas operations including refining and petrochemicals
- Have experience working with data analysis tools, performance metrics, presentation tools, and reporting tools such as MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
