Job description
BEEAH Group is hiring a Specialist - Procurement (Category: Automotive) to provide procurement expertise and assist stakeholders in planning, developing, sourcing, and managing procurement arrangements. The role focuses on ensuring competent supplier onboarding, sourcing a diverse range of categories such as automotive spare parts, facilities management goods and services, and operational tools. It also includes managing supplier relationships, supporting demand planning and budgeting, conducting cost and risk analyses, and driving sustainable procurement practices. The specialist will work within a structured ERP environment and contribute to the organizationās strategic procurement objectives.

Key responsibilities
- Effectively execute the vendor scouting process to onboard competent suppliers.
- Execute the sourcing strategy for different categories.
- Execute the sourcing process for automotive spare parts, services, facilities management, and operational tools and consumables.
- Coordinate procurement categories by leveraging Material Master, Service Master, Vendor Master, Contracts, and planning and forecasting.
- Craft Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotations (RFQs) documenting procurement requirements.
- Screen and compare technical proposals, assessing alignment with objectives and specifications.
- Manage supplier relationships for performance improvement and contractual adherence.
- Implement supplier performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support demand planning and budgeting through accurate forecasts and contingency planning.
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis, should-cost analysis, and Total Cost of Ownership assessments.
- Identify procurement risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Implement sustainable procurement practices considering environmental aspects.
- Utilize conflict resolution techniques to address procurement disputes.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor of Science degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a large organization.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement with specialization in Fleet Maintenance and machinery sourcing.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and ability to build effective supplier relationships.
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Power BI or Tableau.
- Project management skills for effective procurement initiative execution.
- Relevant certifications such as CSCP or CIPS are preferred.
- Experience in global sourcing and knowledge of import/export regulations.
- Knowledge of procurement laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Ability to collaborate across departments including finance, operations, and fleet management.
