Job description
The Field Sales Manager for Public Sector is responsible for leading a team of Field Sales Representatives (FSRs) to drive Google Cloud adoption across government, state, municipal, and education entities in Saudi Arabia. This role owns the full sales cycle, territory strategy, forecasting, executive engagement, and commercialization of Google Cloud solutions within the KSA public sector. The FSM must be an expert in cloud value articulation, digital transformation, and public-sector procurement dynamics. Key responsibilities include developing talent, creating a high-performance sales culture, shaping account strategies, establishing and expanding C-level relationships, and collaborating with Customer Engineers, Partner Sales, and Googleās cross-functional teams to deliver growth. This is a client-facing role requiring fluent Arabic and deep familiarity with the KSA public sector landscape. The FSM will represent Google Cloud at customer meetings, events, and executive briefings, maintaining visibility of market trends and competitive dynamics. The role includes business planning, pipeline health management, and ensuring accurate forecasting to drive long-term, scalable outcomes.

- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Field Sales Representatives to exceed sales and customer satisfaction goals.
- Build and maintain trust-based relationships with C-level executives across KSA public-sector entities.
- Shape and drive account strategies to accelerate Google Cloud adoption across government, municipalities, and education sectors.
- Collaborate with Customer Engineers and Google Partners to build and close opportunities through the entire sales cycle.
- Drive demand generation, account-based marketing, and territory expansion initiatives.
- Deliver accurate forecasting, pipeline reporting, and business performance updates.
- Represent the territory in strategic planning sessions, town halls, and leadership forums.
- Travel to customer meetings, industry events, and conferences as needed.
- Serve as an advocate for Google Cloudās solutions, articulating value propositions to drive digital transformation.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders during complex implementations and negotiations.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of quota-carrying cloud/software sales or enterprise account management experience.
- Experience working directly with the Saudi Arabian public sector market.
- Leadership experience: people management, coaching, or team lead.
- Fluent Arabic communication skills for senior-level stakeholder engagement.
- Experience leading complex cloud transformation initiatives.
- Ability to manage business models, commercial structures, and sales operations at scale.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Business Development, Customer Engineers, and Partner Sales.
- Strong executive presence and ability to influence C-level decision-makers.
- Demonstrated success in driving cloud growth in the public sector.
