Job description
The Learning & Development Manager – Aftersales at Al-Futtaim Automotive in Dubai is responsible for leading non-technical learning and development initiatives across Aftersales teams within automotive dealerships. The role focuses on enhancing professional, leadership, commercial capability, and customer experience skills to drive business performance, maintain brand standards, and elevate customer satisfaction. The position involves designing and deploying blended, digital, and experiential learning programs aligned with Aftersales strategy, operational priorities, and employee career paths. The role partners with Aftersales leadership, HR Business Partners, and brand teams to identify capability gaps, implement targeted development interventions, and embed a coaching culture. Responsibilities include overseeing learning governance, managing scheduling, attendance tracking, LMS data integrity, measuring learning effectiveness using KPIs and evaluation frameworks, and driving continuous improvement. The manager also leads and develops L&D team members, supports Aftersales dealership operations including Service, Parts, Body & Paint, and ensures alignment with business outcomes and customer experience goals. The role requires expertise in digital learning platforms, LMS administration, adult learning methodologies, and strategic learning implementation within automotive aftersales environments.

- Lead the non-technical learning strategy for Aftersales focusing on customer experience, leadership, commercial capability, and people management
- Design and deploy blended, digital, and experiential learning programs for various Aftersales roles
- Embed a coaching and performance improvement culture enabling managers to reinforce learning on the job
- Partner with Aftersales leadership, HR Business Partners, and brand teams to identify capability gaps and implement development interventions
- Oversee learning governance including scheduling, attendance tracking, reporting, and LMS data integrity
- Measure learning effectiveness and business impact using KPIs and evaluation frameworks
- Drive continuous improvement of learning initiatives and operational excellence
- Lead, coach, and develop L&D team members to ensure consistent delivery and professional growth
Experience & skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Education, or related discipline
- 5–10 years of experience in Learning & Development, training, or capability development roles
- Proven experience leading non-technical learning initiatives for customer-facing and operational teams
- Strong understanding of Aftersales dealership operations including Service, Parts, Body & Paint
- High proficiency in digital learning platforms and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Professional certification in Learning & Development, Coaching, or Adult Learning is advantageous
- HR certification, background, or experience is advantageous
- Proven success in linking learning outcomes to business and customer experience results
