Job description
The Enterprise Architect ā Financial Services at Al-Futtaim Group will define and govern holistic enterprise architectures including application, business, data, integration, and cloud for the Financial Services line of business. The role involves designing target enterprise architecture aligned with business and IT strategies, performing maturity assessments, conducting solution impact analyses, and leading technology evaluations through RFIs/RFPs. The architect will assess application portfolios, define technology standards, and support emerging technology evaluations. This role ensures regulatory compliance, drives architectural best practices, and leads workshops with stakeholders while participating in governance activities.

Key responsibilities
- Design target enterprise architecture for Financial Services aligned with business and IT strategy
- Create business architecture models and capability roadmaps
- Perform impact analysis for business demands and define solution approaches
- Evaluate and recommend technology selections during RFIs/RFPs
- Assess and optimize application portfolio for consolidation, upgrades, or retirement
- Define application and technology standards and create strategic roadmaps
- Conduct research on emerging technologies and recommend usage to bridge capability gaps
- Lead proof of concept and proof of technology initiatives for new solutions
- Facilitate integration design sessions and scoping workshops with business and IT teams
- Participate and coordinate in enterprise architecture governance activities
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Masterās preferred
- 15+ years of enterprise architecture experience including 5+ years within financial services, ideally banking
- Certification in enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF
- Experience with banking reference frameworks like BIAN
- Proficiency in architecture domains: business, data, application, and technology
- Expertise in EA toolsets, preferably LeanIX
- Strong communication skills across all organizational levels, including visualization and documentation
