Job description
As Social Media Manager at Bayut KSA, based in Riyadh, you will lead the development and execution of comprehensive social media strategies to elevate brand presence, drive engagement, and achieve business objectives. This includes creating high-quality, culturally-aligned content for platforms such as X, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, LinkedIn, and more. You will oversee a team of Content Writers, Creators, and Social Media Specialists, providing mentorship, performance feedback, and professional development. Responsibilities include content calendar planning, community management, monitoring and analysing social media metrics, executing multi-platform campaigns, optimising paid advertising, and applying SEO principles in social media content. You will collaborate with marketing, PR, and design teams to ensure consistent brand messaging while staying ahead of trends, tools, and best practices in social media. The role emphasizes data-driven decision-making, creativity, team leadership, and alignment of social media initiatives with broader business goals.

Key responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business and marketing objectives
- Develop engaging, high-quality content for platforms including X, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, LinkedIn, and others
- Ensure all content aligns with Bayut’s brand identity, tone of voice, and local cultural preferences in KSA
- Plan, maintain, and manage content calendars to ensure consistent and timely posting
- Monitor social media interactions, respond to comments and messages, and foster an active online community
- Track, analyse, and report on social media metrics, providing actionable insights for optimisation
- Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices to enhance brand presence
- Collaborate with marketing, PR, and design teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and campaign execution
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of content writers, creators, and social media specialists, providing guidance, performance feedback, and professional development
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture to drive creativity and excellence in social media execution
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Preferred certifications in social media or digital marketing (e.g., Google Digital Marketing, HubSpot Social Media Certification)
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in social media management, strategy development, or related fields
- 1–2 years experience managing a team
- Proven track record of growing social media accounts for brands
- Data-driven strategy development and multi-platform campaign management
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices
- Proficiency in social media analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social
- Familiarity with paid social media advertising, campaign optimisation, and A/B testing
- Understanding of SEO principles and content marketing
- Leadership, creativity, and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in social media management tools, graphic design software (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite), and video editing tools
