Job description
Commercial demand and network investment planning meet at this Manager, Techno-Commercial Interface Management role, positioned between du's commercial teams and InfraCo. You submit detailed pre-demand and business forecasts that InfraCo uses to prepare its budget and investment proposals, following the process set out in the Budgeting chapter of the Inter-company process. Network plans get challenged on technical grounds and recommended for alignment with the Commercial roadmap, with unconfirmed plans routed to ICT, IT or other EITC departments for sign-off. Visibility into network investments gets mapped to the initiation of official demand, covering areas such as coverage and capacity increases, feature and capability rollout plans, and reprioritization of commercial demands based on network cost. Performance of major projects tied to commercial outcomes, including network rollout, product development and quality, gets tracked once demand is approved, with forecasts adjusted and changes escalated as needed. Emerging technology trends also fall within scope, since new markets, partnerships and service offerings need identifying and analyzing for potential business opportunities. Scalability gets assessed for every proposed initiative to confirm it can handle future growth and demand. Commercial product and segment teams collaborate with this role to translate technology trends into new products and services.
