Job description
The Cluster Security Manager at Raffles & Fairmont the Red Sea is responsible for overseeing all aspects of security operations across multiple luxury hospitality properties within the Umluj cluster. The role includes developing and implementing comprehensive security policies, procedures, and protocols, conducting regular risk assessments, managing and training security personnel, coordinating with local law enforcement and government agencies, managing security budgets, and implementing advanced security technologies and surveillance systems. The position involves leading crisis management efforts, preparing reports and briefings for senior management, ensuring alignment with luxury brand standards, staying abreast of global security trends, and supporting pre-opening operations including project coordination, scheduling, and document control. The role demands a proactive, anticipatory approach, ownership, accountability, and impeccable grooming aligned with ultra-luxury hospitality standards.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols for all properties within the cluster
- Conduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential security threats
- Oversee the management and training of security personnel across multiple properties
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and government agencies to ensure compliance with security regulations
- Manage security budgets and allocate resources effectively across the cluster
- Implement and maintain state-of-the-art security technologies and surveillance systems
- Lead crisis management efforts and coordinate emergency response procedures
- Provide regular security briefings and reports to senior management
- Ensure all security measures align with the luxury standards of Raffles & Fairmont brands
- Coordinate pre-opening project activities, scheduling, and document control to ensure operational readiness
Experience & skills
- Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field
- Advanced security certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in security management, including at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven track record in managing security operations for multiple luxury hospitality properties
- Extensive knowledge of security management systems, risk assessment, and crisis management
- Strong understanding of international security standards and local Saudi regulations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate large teams across multiple locations
- Proficiency in utilizing and managing advanced security technologies and surveillance systems
- Demonstrated experience in budget management and resource allocation
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is highly desirable
- Willingness to relocate to Umluj, Saudi Arabia, and adapt to local culture and environment
- Experience in pre-opening operations and project coordination
- Impeccable grooming and personal presentation aligned with luxury hospitality standards
