Job description
The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist - Allied Health at American Hospital Dubai is responsible for executing end-to-end recruitment activities for Allied Medical, Admin, and Support Services divisions. The role involves identifying recruitment needs with department heads, sourcing CVs as per the Management System for Records (MSR), and ensuring job postings are accurately placed on the internal website, LinkedIn, and other authorized portals. The candidate screens CVs based on AHD/DHA standards through cold calling and builds talent pipelines through networking. Responsibilities include coordinating interviews, preparing job offers, managing pre-employment and DHA processes, updating records, and ensuring smooth onboarding. The specialist also supports the HR training team for orientation, prepares monthly recruitment reports, and maintains recruitment timelines within benchmark standards. The role demands strong communication skills, documentation handling, and a solid understanding of healthcare hiring compliance, especially DHA requirements.

Key responsibilities
- Liaise with department directors to identify recruitment and selection needs
- Source CVs for budgeted roles under Allied Medical, Admin, and Support Services
- Post jobs on internal and external platforms including LinkedIn
- Screen candidates based on AHD and DHA criteria through cold calling
- Network with candidates for referrals on similar open roles
- Conduct applicant screening and forward profiles to departments
- Update candidate records and share with department heads
- Arrange and coordinate interviews with relevant stakeholders
- Send interview reminders to candidates and department heads
- Coordinate staff selection process and document feedback
- Ensure interview records are maintained on iFusion
- Prepare and release job offers and manage onboarding documentation
- Guide candidates through pre-employment medicals and DHA process
- Ensure complete documentation and handover to onboarding team
- Justify salary deviations for difficult-to-place vacancies
- Follow up with candidates on documentation and resolve concerns
- Register new joiners for orientation with HR training
- Submit monthly reports to CHRO highlighting concerns
- Monitor and ensure recruitment timelines are met
Experience & skills
- BA degree in Human Resource Management
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Experience with AHD and DHA recruitment standards preferred
- Familiarity with job posting platforms and recruitment databases
- Strong networking and cold calling abilities
- Experience using iFusion system
- Skilled in preparing and managing employment documentation
- Ability to coordinate interviews and onboarding processes
- Knowledge of pre-employment medical and DHA licensing procedures
- Proficiency in reporting and record-keeping
