Job description
The Trade Marketing Executive (Retail Brand Marketing) role at GMG is responsible for executing retail brand marketing initiatives across GCC stores, translating brand concepts into impactful in-store experiences aligned with customer preferences and store formats. The role focuses on planning and executing seasonal campaigns, product launches, and sale activations in line with the overall marketing strategy, while ensuring timely delivery within approved budgets and timelines. The position drives flawless in-store execution of branding initiatives through regular store audits, corrective actions, and alignment with door formats, seasonal priorities, and product availability. The role works cross-functionally with Operations, Brand, Product/Buying, and Visual Merchandising teams, and manages external suppliers, vendors, and marketing production agencies to ensure cost-effective, on-time delivery of marketing materials. Responsibilities also include tracking campaign performance, preparing detailed activation recap reports, supporting planning and optimization of retail marketing projects, and managing multiple initiatives simultaneously within GMG’s multi-brand, multi-country retail environment across the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia.

Key responsibilities
- Plan and execute seasonal brand campaigns, updates, and sale launches across GCC retail stores in line with the overall marketing strategy
- Ensure marketing initiatives are delivered within approved budgets, timelines, and defined performance expectations
- Track campaign performance and prepare detailed recap and activation reports for all retail marketing initiatives
- Drive consistent and high-quality in-store execution of branding and trade marketing initiatives
- Conduct regular store visits to audit branding elements and implement corrective actions where required
- Ensure alignment of in-store marketing with store formats, seasonal priorities, and product availability
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Brand, Product/Buying, and Visual Merchandising teams to ensure seamless execution
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and marketing production agencies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of marketing materials
- Support planning, execution, recapitulation, and ongoing optimization of multiple retail marketing projects simultaneously
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of experience in retail or trade marketing, preferably within the GCC region
- Show proven experience managing marketing production agencies and overseeing end-to-end production of branding materials
- Apply strong understanding of production processes, material types, and marketing cost structures
- Demonstrate expertise in trade marketing execution, store layouts, POP executions, and promotional retail campaigns
- Utilize proficiency in MS Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for planning, reporting, and presentations
