Job description

The Data Center Deployment Specialist at NVIDIA supports the deployment and maintenance of NVIDIA products across large-scale and high-performance data centers, both in-field and remotely. The role involves guiding and supervising third-party contractors, ensuring accurate cable installations including type, port assignments, and timing of activity, and performing quality testing and relabeling based on Point-to-Point (P2P) standards. The specialist validates and updates cabling-related work instructions, maintains accurate asset and inventory data in Asset Manager, and contributes to Data Center Standards updates. Responsibilities also include inspecting received hardware shipments, documenting processes, maintaining event logs, and installing network systems at customer sites. This position requires deep technical understanding of data center environments, including servers, networking equipment, and liquid-cooled systems, with hands-on experience in installation, monitoring, and maintenance. The role demands strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in dynamic environments. The position involves approximately 30–35% travel and interaction with R&D and network engineering teams.
