Based in Dubai or Abu Dhabi with 25-50% travel across the Middle East, this AWS Solutions Architect works with enterprise customers on their move to the cloud. Sales teams count on you to shape and execute a strategy that drives AWS adoption and revenue growth. Scalable, flexible and resilient architectures that address real business problems are designed alongside customers, sales and other AWS teams. Migration of existing workloads is a frequent theme, backed by detailed architectural discussions that set solutions up for successful deployment. Senior technical people inside customer organisations become cloud advocates through the relationships you build. Knowledge travels in both directions, through one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions, whitepapers, and best practices shared with the solutions architect community. Service engineering and support teams also rely on you as the technical liaison for customers. At least 7 years of IT development or implementation and consulting experience is required, including 4+ years in a technology domain and 2+ years designing or implementing applications and infrastructure. Legacy-to-cloud migration work and hands-on AWS dev/ops experience would add weight.
