Job description
The Senior Sales Account Manager (UAE National) is responsible for driving revenue growth across strategic key accounts within the telecom and IT services portfolio at du HQ. This role focuses on managing top-tier enterprise clients, executing strategic account plans, and expanding multi-product penetration across existing and new accounts. The position requires strong enterprise sales expertise, the ability to engage senior executives, and a hands-on approach to business development. The incumbent will lead revenue forecasting, manage account executives, resolve customer concerns, and ensure alignment between client business strategies and du’s telecom and IT solutions portfolio.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive sustainable revenue growth across assigned key enterprise accounts.
- Accurately forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue streams while maintaining strong pipeline visibility.
- Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities across emerging and multi-product offerings within the telecom and IT services portfolio.
- Actively pursue new business opportunities through on-site and off-site client meetings, lead generation, and proactive prospecting efforts.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with C-level executives and senior stakeholders within Top 100 enterprise accounts.
- Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to understand their business objectives, telecom and IT strategies, and digital transformation needs.
- Design tailored solution proposals that align customer requirements with du’s product and service offerings.
- Lead sales negotiations, coordinate commercial discussions, and ensure smooth contract closures in collaboration with internal teams.
- Direct and support professional account management activities to ensure service excellence and client satisfaction.
- Manage and mentor a team of account executives, ensuring performance alignment with sales targets and business objectives.
- Implement targeted sales campaigns and competitive strategies to increase market share and defend key accounts.
- Organize and deliver impactful presentations, seminars, and executive briefings to strengthen customer engagement.
- Resolve customer complaints related to sales and service promptly, ensuring high retention and satisfaction levels.
- Utilize structured Key Account Planning methodologies (e.g., ESP, TAS) to strengthen account penetration and relationship management.
- Collaborate with sales support, technical, and commercial teams to ensure appropriate resource allocation and solution delivery.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Telecommunications, Sales, or Marketing (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in IT and Telecom services sales with a strong track record of exceeding revenue targets.
- At least 3 years of experience managing and selling to Top 100 key enterprise accounts.
- Proven ability to sell complex telecom, IT, or multi-product solutions to enterprise customers.
- Strong revenue forecasting and pipeline management capabilities.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and executive communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior decision-makers within large organizations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess customer requirements and design relevant business solutions.
- Experience leading and managing account executive teams.
- Strong time management, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
