Job description
The Customer Project Manager leads the delivery of innovative external customer programs and projects that enhance customer programs and achieve business objectives. The role manages project scope, resources, timelines, risks, and success metrics while maintaining customer satisfaction and optimizing budget and quality. Responsibilities include conducting end-to-end project planning with risk and opportunity management, assigning tasks and overseeing project team resources, maintaining strong relationships with customers and stakeholders with clear communication of expectations and progress, and driving improvement initiatives to enhance project gross margin and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities. The position implements and adapts processes that adhere to health and safety regulations, mentors project team members, and contributes feedback from the field to inform go-to-market strategies and product development in a dynamic environment that values collaboration, cultural diversity, proactive problem-solving, and independent thinking.

Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage external customer programs or projects, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations and strategic goals
- Assign tasks and oversee project team resources to foster collaboration and ensure timely, high-quality delivery
- Conduct end-to-end project planning, including risk and opportunity management to anticipate and address challenges proactively
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, communicating expectations and project progress clearly
- Monitor project success metrics to achieve targets related to customer satisfaction, financial performance, and operational delivery
- Drive improvement initiatives to enhance project gross margin and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
- Implement and adapt processes that adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring the well-being of team members and stakeholders
- Mentor project team members by leveraging experience and expertise to foster professional development and growth
Experience & skills
- 7–10 years of experience in project management, preferably in the telecommunications industry
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and external customer relationships
- Strong understanding of project financial management, including budgeting and forecast analysis
- Exceptional risk management and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational excellence
- Experience with Agile project management methodologies (nice to have)
- Relevant postgraduate degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (nice to have)
- Fluency in multiple languages to enhance stakeholder communication (nice to have)
- Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar (nice to have)
