Job description
The Senior Onsite Operations Lead - Dubai is responsible for overseeing the execution of medium and large-scale live events on the ground for a global tech platform in the live entertainment and culture sector. The role ensures operational excellence in live environments by leading onsite execution, managing teams, and ensuring all event operations run smoothly, efficiently, and on time. The position acts as the primary operational reference point during events, coordinating onsite staff including coordinators, temporary staff, and suppliers, ensuring clarity of roles and high performance under pressure. The role enforces operational standards, identifies and resolves issues in real time, and ensures consistency and quality across event setups. The Senior Onsite Operations Lead serves as the main point of contact for partners during live execution, providing confidence, clarity, and professional representation of the organization. The role works closely with Strategic Event Managers to translate operational plans into real-world execution, ensuring alignment with event design and providing feedback to improve future operations. The position requires strong leadership in fast-paced environments, with responsibility for maintaining high execution standards in live entertainment operations and ensuring seamless delivery of high-impact events across Dubai and international markets.

Key responsibilities
- Lead onsite execution of medium and large-scale live events ensuring smooth, efficient, and timely operations
- Coordinate and manage onsite teams including coordinators, temporary staff, and suppliers during live events
- Act as primary operational point of contact during event execution for partners and stakeholders
- Ensure operational standards, processes, and tools are correctly applied across all onsite activities
- Identify and resolve operational issues in real time to prevent escalation and maintain event quality
- Translate strategic event plans into onsite execution in collaboration with Strategic Event Managers
- Maintain team performance, accountability, and professionalism during live operations
- Provide feedback to strategic teams to improve future event execution and operational processes
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate 5–10 years of experience in live event operations, hospitality, or onsite operational roles
- Demonstrate experience managing teams in real-time, high-pressure environments
- Demonstrate strong execution capability in live operations and event delivery
- Demonstrate strong leadership presence and ability to manage onsite teams
- Demonstrate fluency in English (additional local language is a plus)
- Demonstrate ability to work in fast-paced, high-complexity event environments
- Demonstrate familiarity with operational systems such as ticketing, access control, or POS (preferred)
