Job description
The Showroom Manager for H&M Division in the UAE is responsible for leading showroom operations, brand marketing, and visual merchandising initiatives to enhance customer value, brand visibility, and sales. The role involves collaboration with the Fashion PR Manager and Senior PR & Communications Manager to manage the showroom and support PR projects, while driving omni-channel sales performance and customer-centricity. Responsibilities include maintaining garment stock and send-outs, executing showroom tactics, organizing brand events and press trips, monitoring PR and influencer activities to calculate ROI, ensuring visual presentation standards, managing internal sample sales, tracking media coverage, and fostering relationships with media, influencers, celebrities, and opinion leaders. The role also entails strategic planning for Fashion PR and showroom activities across MENA, cross-functional collaboration with marketing teams, and ensuring alignment with H&M brand DNA and communication.

Key responsibilities
- Build a MENA strategy for Fashion PR and Showroom in collaboration with Senior PR & Communications Manager and Portfolio Brands Marketing Manager
- Act as a brand ambassador for H&M Division brands and develop a network with fashion journalists, stylists, influencers, celebrities, and opinion leaders
- Lead showroom and PR coordinators, driving showroom tactics including planning, execution, and follow-up
- Communicate H&M brand messages externally and internally in collaboration with relevant managers
- Organize inspiring brand events and press trips around special collections to drive word of mouth and fashion credibility
- Monitor and analyze PR and influencer activity results to calculate ROI and measure local strategy impact
- Work alongside Fashion PR lead and Portfolio Brands Marketing Manager on local PR activities in the showroom
- Drive sample administration, including optimizing requests and send-outs using relevant systems
- Ensure visual presentation and product placement in the showroom with current garments and products
- Manage internal sample sales according to showroom policies
- Track magazines, newspapers, influencers, radio and TV channels for product placement
- Handle general office administration such as filing press cuttings and reports
- Attend internal and external events for networking and business purposes
- Collaborate with PR Manager, Showroom Supervisor, and Portfolio Brands Marketing Manager to maximize synergies between paid and earned relationships
- Understand the brands within H&M Showroom (H&M, COS, & Other Stories) in terms of DNA, aesthetics, and communication
Experience & skills
- Possess formal education in Business, Communication, or Marketing, or at least 5 years of relevant experience
- Have showroom and/or PR experience
- Experience coordinating projects successfully
- Fashion background or deep interest and knowledge of fashion
- Proven experience in building a professional network
- Competence in digital/tech and omni-channel ways of working
- Strategic and analytical mindset with strong planning and prioritizing skills
- Understanding of synergies between owned, paid, and earned media
- Excellent communication skills in English and preferably Arabic; other languages meriting
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Knowledge of local relevant publication houses in the region
- Experience with editorial fashion content is meriting
