Job description
Mashreq's Corporate Banking business in Qatar grows through strong relationships with company decision makers, and this Relationship Manager looks after an allocated portfolio while building new ones. Credit facilities are recommended in line with each relationship strategy, balancing earnings potential against MB's risk appetite. New prospects are identified across target market segments, including syndication and structured financing transactions. Existing clients are explored for vertical and horizontal relationships across group and owner affiliations, with other divisions' products cross-sold. Term sheets, pre-screen memos, financial models, risk rating modules and economic profitability reports are prepared and structured here. Credit proposals and financial spreads are developed with the Credit Product Group (CPG), while documentation and approvals are followed up internally. Client calls, field visits and call reports keep external controls current, covering facility utilisation and payment regularisation. MB also aims to lead in emerging debt and capital markets and the TCM space, and you help position the bank there. Expect to bring strong relationship management and credit skills, financial spreading and modelling ability, credit presentation experience and tertiary qualifications.
