Job description
Tahaluf, the largest B2B Live and On Demand Events organiser in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Senior Conference Producer for a 6-month maternity cover role from December 1st, 2025 to May 31st, 2026. The role involves producing high-level industry conference programmes, managing speakers, conducting market research, liaising with delegates and sponsors, and supporting event delivery on-site. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic, fast-scaling business responsible for some of the Kingdom’s most iconic events, including LEAP, Cityscape Global, and Black Hat.

Key responsibilities
- Produce high-level relevant industry conference programmes.
- Liaise with key professionals/institutions and companies in the production of conference programmes.
- Engage with recommended speakers and confirm their attendance.
- Ensure the speaker database is updated to provide current and accurate speaker lists and files for event management.
- Prepare and communicate creative brief documents to the Marketing team.
- Prepare and lead telesales briefs and set follow-up meetings to track progress.
- Ensure all CME/CPD application forms and supporting documentation are completed online within deadlines.
- Assist providing leads to the sponsorship team and attend sales meetings as appropriate.
- Mentor other conference producers within the team.
- Conduct a post-show analysis of the event including job title analysis.
- Effectively research topics with relevant industry professionals and the target market.
- Develop new conference ideas and programme content through meetings and tele-research with key experts.
- Collaborate with the Director and other sales team members to generate ideas for enhancing the conference portfolio, ideally recommending at least 2 new conference tracks per existing event.
- Identify key opinion leaders/institutions and companies related to the event.
- Maintain existing and build new relationships to develop a conference with topics and speakers.
- Be able to provide a list of hospitals that are leaders in specialist areas relating to the event.
- Look at additional add-ons and other ways of attracting more delegates i.e. workshops, poster sessions, partnering with associations etc.
- Liaise and network with speakers, exhibitors and delegates on-site to maintain customer service standards, resolve queries and gain feedback, targeting at least 10 meetings per event day.
- Assist with onsite duties as required for the duration of the event, which may require longer working hours.
Experience & skills
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Significant experience in conference production.
- Speaks and writes clearly and fluently in English to both individuals and groups.
- Computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Commercial awareness.
