Job description
The Senior AI Sales Specialist, AWS Global Sales (Amazon Web Services EMEA Dubai FZ Branch) develops executive and technical relationships with key enterprise customers to unify data assets, advise on a modern data strategy, and set customers on a path to realize business vision leveraging data and AI. The role partners closely with AWS account teams, solution architects, customer success, partners, demand generation, marketing, and broader field teams to pursue and win opportunities, create scalable sales plays and programs that synthesize key AWS messages for amplification, and capture customer feedback to inform the roadmap of the analytics portfolio. Acting as market maker, operator, and general manager for assigned accounts, the specialist focuses on customer outcomesâwinning new customers, growing existing customers, securing lighthouse customers, driving revenue for new services, and developing strategic partnershipsâwhile driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration in enterprise accounts. The position requires the ability to operate at the CXO level and with data engineers/IT architects, develop and execute a territory coverage plan, and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets. Key responsibilities
- Drive revenue, adoption, and market penetration across enterprise accounts using a territory coverage plan and quarterly target cadence.
- Engage and advise at CXO level while collaborating with data engineers and IT architects to align on a modern data strategy leveraging AI and AWS.
- Partner with AWS account teams, solution architects, customer success, partners, demand generation, and marketing to pursue and close opportunities.
- Create scalable sales plays and programs that simplify and synthesize AWS value propositions for amplification across customer-facing teams.
- Develop executive and technical relationships with key customers to unify data assets and align solutions to strategic priorities.
- Win new customers, grow existing customers, secure lighthouse references, and drive revenue for new AWS services while building strategic partnerships.
- Collect and channel customer feedback to influence the analytics portfolio roadmap and improve field effectiveness.
- Operate as a self-starter to plan, execute, and iterate on territory strategy to consistently meet or exceed quarterly goals.
Experience & skills
- 3+ years of full sales cycle technology sales or equivalent business development/sales engineering/consulting experience.
- 5+ years of technology sales in enterprise software, networking, infrastructure, managed hosting services, or cloud computing services.
- Experience driving engagements at the C-suite level and with technical stakeholders (data engineers, IT architects).
- Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software (preferred).
- Experience (technical or educational) in Engineering or Computer Science (preferred).
- Experience driving new business in greenfield accounts at the C-suite level or equivalent (preferred).
