Job description
Drive revenue, adoption, and market penetration for Amazon Web Services by acting as a market maker, operator, and general manager across enterprise accounts, partnering closely with AWS account teams, solution architects, customer success, partners, demand generation, and marketing to pursue AI-led sales opportunities. Build executive and technical relationships with key customers to advise on a modern data strategy, unify data assets, and set customers on a path to realize their business vision leveraging data and AI. Create scalable sales plays and programs that simplify and synthesize key messages for the broader AWS customer-facing ecosystem to amplify, and continuously solicit customer feedback to inform the analytics portfolio roadmap. Operate against a territory coverage plan, consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets, win new customers, grow existing customers, secure lighthouse references, drive revenue for new services, and develop strategic partnerships, while engaging at both the C-suite and the data engineer/IT architect levels to ensure outcomes-focused solutions aligned to customer priorities.

- Develop and execute a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets for enterprise accounts
- Build and manage executive and technical relationships to advise customers on modern data strategy and AI-driven business outcomes
- Pursue and close sales opportunities in partnership with AWS account teams, solution architects, customer success, partners, demand generation, and marketing
- Design scalable sales plays and enablement programs that simplify key messages and equip AWS customer-facing teams
- Drive adoption and market penetration by winning new customers, expanding existing accounts, and securing lighthouse customers
- Collaborate with customers to unify data assets and align solutions to strategic priorities at both CXO and engineering/architect levels
- Gather and channel customer feedback to influence the roadmap of analytics offerings and associated services
- Develop strategic partnerships to accelerate customer success and expand AWS service utilization
- Track pipeline, forecast accurately, and report progress to stakeholders while maintaining strong deal hygiene in CRM
Experience & skills
- 3+ years of full sales cycle technology sales or equivalent business development, sales engineering/consulting experience
- 5+ years of technology sales selling enterprise software, networking, infrastructure, managed hosting services, or cloud computing services
- Experience selling to enterprise customers and engaging at the C-suite level as well as with data engineers and IT architects
- Self-starter capable of developing and executing a territory plan and delivering against quarterly revenue targets
- Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
- Experience (technical or educational) in Engineering or Computer Science (preferred)
- Experience driving new business in greenfield accounts at the C-suite level or equivalent (preferred)
