Job description
Grant Thornton UAE seeks a Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager in Transfer Pricing and Direct Tax to provide strategic tax advisory, compliance, and risk management services related to corporate tax, transfer pricing, and international tax matters. The role involves assisting clients in developing tailored Transfer Pricing policies and strategies, preparing documentation such as Master File, Local File, and CbCR, supporting functional and economic analysis including comparability and benchmarking studies, and contributing to supply chain and restructuring projects while supporting Advanced Pricing Agreements procedures. The role also requires maintaining active client communication, contributing to proposal development, staying up-to-date with UAE Transfer Pricing regulations, coaching junior team members, and leveraging Microsoft packages and financial modelling tools. Knowledge of OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines, BEPS Action Plans, and Middle East Transfer Pricing Regulation is required.

Key responsibilities
- Assist clients in developing Transfer Pricing policies and strategies aligned with industry practice
- Support preparation of Transfer Pricing documentation including Master File, Local File, and CbCR
- Conduct functional and economic analysis, including comparability and benchmarking studies for transactions
- Assist on supply chain and restructuring projects, designing and implementing tax-effective operative models
- Support clients in Advanced Pricing Agreements procedures
- Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, and meet deadlines
- Contribute to proposal development and internal knowledge initiatives while staying up-to-date with transfer pricing regulations
- Coach and mentor junior team members
Experience & skills
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master's degree or professional qualification (CA, CPA, CFA, ACCA) is a plus
- 4+ years of related work experience in Transfer Pricing
- Strong understanding of international tax principles and Transfer Pricing regulations including OECD Guidelines, BEPS Action Plans, and Middle East Transfer Pricing Regulation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial modelling
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent technical, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills
- Strong written and spoken English; Arabic advantageous
