Job description
Salesforce seeks a New Markets Account Executive for its Commercial Business Sales unit in Dubai to drive greenfield growth across named prospect accounts in the Middle East. The role owns the vision, strategy, stakeholder management, and revenue execution for Salesforce Core offerings (e.g., Sales CRM) while collaborating with Solution Sales teams for broader Salesforce Cloud solutions. With Salesforce opening a Dubai office and deploying a UAE Data Centre to support regulated industries with security and data residency requirements, the AE will introduce Salesforce to new customers, build the local market presence, and increase revenue across new and existing customers in territory. Candidates should bring at least 8 years of referenceable software/SaaS sales success, strong business development skills (territory planning, pipeline generation, closing significant cloud opportunities), knowledge and contacts in the Middle East, current UAE residency, a local driving licence, fluent business-level English, and no restrictions on international travel. The role is primarily new business rather than account management and is positioned as a stepping stone into Enterprise Sales. Salesforce offers enablement (Trailhead, Sandler Sales Training, product bootcamp), mentorship and coaching, leadership exposure, clear promotion paths, and extensive volunteerism opportunities aligned with its core values of Trust, Customer Success, Innovation, Equality, and Sustainability.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Drive sales and revenue growth across an assigned new-market territory of named prospects in the Middle East.
- Introduce Salesforce offerings to new customers and communicate the Salesforce value proposition to close sales.
- Own the account vision, strategy, and stakeholder management for Salesforce Core products while coordinating with Account Executives across other Salesforce Clouds toward a unified growth target.
- Execute robust business development including territory planning, pipeline generation, and closing of significant cloud software opportunities.
- Increase revenue spend across new and existing customers while building Salesforce’s local market presence.
- Collaborate closely with Solution Sales teams and internal stakeholders to orchestrate multi-cloud pursuits and land enhanced solutions.
- Conduct executive-level engagements, discovery, and qualification to build and progress opportunity pipelines.
- Manage end-to-end sales cycles, including forecasting, deal structuring, and negotiation to timely closure.
- Leverage Salesforce enablement (Trailhead, Sandler, bootcamps) and leadership coaching to accelerate performance and career progression.
- Travel regionally and internationally as required to support territory development and customer engagements.
Experience & skills
- At least 8 years of successful, referenceable sales experience, preferably in software/SaaS sales.
- Demonstrated track record in new business creation: territory planning, pipeline generation, prospecting, and closing significant cloud software deals.
- Knowledge and contacts within the Middle East region; currently resides in the UAE with a local driving licence.
- Fluent business-level English and ability to travel internationally without restrictions.
- Proven ability to own account strategy, stakeholder management, and coordinate across solution teams toward a shared growth target.
- Strong presentation, value-based selling, negotiation, and closing skills across the full sales cycle.
- Ambition to develop toward Enterprise Account selling; willingness to learn, be coached, and follow a defined career path.
- Understanding of regulated-industry considerations in the region, including security and data residency requirements enabled by Salesforce’s UAE Data Centre.
- University Graduate Calibre (Bachelor’s preferred).
