Job description
Reporting to the Project Controls Director, this Senior Risk Manager provides portfolio-wide risk management for a major mixed-use infrastructure programme in Riyadh, where KBR delivers PMO services, governance and assurance. The approved Risk Management Plan (RMP) is yours to develop, implement and administer, covering procedures, processes and templates. PMC risk registers and plans come to you for review, and you consolidate them into programme-level and departmental registers for escalation and reporting. Quantitative risk analysis (QRA) of strategic, cost and schedule risk is central to the work, alongside cost and schedule contingency assessments at programme and portfolio levels. Risk meetings and workshops also run through this position, with a focus on mitigation strategies for risks and issues. Dashboards, monthly quality assurance reviews and Key Risk Indicator (KRI) reporting keep the whole Development in view. PMCs will look to you for guidance and training, and a team of subordinate Risk Managers needs leading. At least 15 years of post-graduation experience is required, together with PMI-Risk Management Professional, RIMS-Certified Risk Management Professional or equivalent certification. Sound knowledge of risk across urban developments, high-rise buildings, iconic assets, roads, bridges and utilities is essential.
