Job description
ASAB is where this job is done, full time, because ADNOC Onshore expects its PMC Senior Civil Engineer to be on site rather than in an office. Wood is providing project management consultancy, and the role sits within the IPMT, reporting to the ADNOC Discipline Team Leader and Engineering Manager. Civil and structural design work by the EPC Contractor and engineering consultants comes to you for technical review and approval against ADNOC project specifications, international codes and best practice. Integration across the Mechanical, Civil and Structural Engineering Team is part of the brief. Design option analysis, equipment sizing and selection, layout and model reviews, and technical workshops all draw on your input. Existing facilities should be used fully, with new facilities optimised and designed to current corporate environment and health guidelines. Bid evaluations, performance evaluations and technical support through installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning complete the scope. At least 15 years in the oil and gas industry and a BSc in Civil Engineering are expected, along with detailed knowledge of international codes and standards.
