Job description
The Project Manager (Healthcare IT) is responsible for planning, executing, and achieving successful sign-off of InterSystems Corporation projects, specifically TrakCare and HealthShare, within a country. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, adhering to the InterSystems ARIES Customer Engagement Methodology. This includes acquiring resources, coordinating multi-disciplined teams, defining project objectives, overseeing quality control throughout the project lifecycle, monitoring customer and third-party obligations, and escalating project variances. The Project Manager may be required to visit customer sites regularly and spend up to 5 nights away from home per week. The role is crucial for delivering multi-stranded integrated healthcare solutions across government/public and private sector healthcare organizations, ensuring successful project execution, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and achieve successful sign-off of InterSystems TrakCare and HealthShare projects within scope, budget, and deadlines
- Manage day-to-day project execution, including acquiring resources and coordinating efforts of team members
- Define project objectives and oversee quality control throughout the project lifecycle
- Monitor customer and third-party obligations and escalate project variances
- Lead a diverse, multi-disciplined team to deliver integrated healthcare solutions
- Manage resources, time tracking, budgets, and forecasting
- Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Manage large, fixed price engagements in government, public, and private healthcare sectors
- Travel to customer sites as required, including up to 5 nights away per week
Experience & skills
- 10+ years’ experience managing large, complex projects preferably in healthcare IT
- Project Management experience delivering multi-stranded integrated healthcare solutions
- Direct healthcare knowledge or 3+ years’ experience with a Health Information System (HIS)
- Experience managing resources, time tracking, budgets, and forecasting
- Experience leading multi-disciplined teams
- Experience in managing large, fixed price engagements in government, public, or private sector businesses
- Project Management qualification such as Prince2, PMP, or PMI
- Senior level management training
- Technical knowledge in software and implementation processes
- Proficiency in English and Arabic
