Job description
The Delivery Lead will oversee the end-to-end delivery of large-scale Data & AI transformation projects for a leading telecommunications provider. This role involves managing complex, cross-functional projects, ensuring scope, risks, and outcomes are aligned with business goals. The position requires strong leadership in account delivery management, advanced AI architecture knowledge, and the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels. The Delivery Lead will drive service quality, efficiency, cost management, and innovation while mentoring internal teams and contributing to business development.

Key responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of complex Data & AI transformation projects using appropriate frameworks.
- Collaborate with project sponsors and stakeholders to define scope, manage risks, and ensure successful execution.
- Ensure high levels of service quality, delivery efficiency, and cost management.
- Lead cross-functional teams, providing strategic direction and problem-solving across multiple workstreams.
- Act as a subject matter expert in Account Delivery Management.
- Drive delivery excellence and support sales/business development with scalable solutions.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
- Monitor, measure, and communicate project KPIs and progress to leadership and sponsors.
- Implement best practices in project and work management to continuously improve performance.
- Leverage AI architectural expertise to guide project design and strategy.
- Facilitate training, knowledge-sharing, and mentoring sessions to build team capabilities.
- Conduct retrospectives and performance analysis to identify improvements and corrective actions.
Experience & skills
- Minimum 12 years of experience managing large-scale technology or transformation projects, preferably in telecom or digital domains.
- Expert proficiency in Account Delivery Management and Work Management.
- Advanced proficiency in AI Architecture and Data/AI project delivery.
- Strong experience leading cross-functional and distributed teams.
- Proven ability to influence and align stakeholders across multiple leadership levels.
- Strong analytical, communication, and results-driven approach.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and modern delivery methodologies.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Preferred: Experience with telecom clients in digital/AI transformation initiatives.
- Preferred: Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) for AI and data services.
- Preferred: Knowledge of modern AI technologies, data governance, and enterprise architecture frameworks.
