Job description
The Senior HSES Admin in the UAE is responsible for executing and managing the administrative functions of the HSES Department, ensuring timely, efficient, and compliant operations aligned with company standards. The role involves preparing and distributing HSES communications such as Lessons Learned, Safety Alerts, Bulletins, and Toolbox Talks, maintaining and analyzing company-wide HSES data including SOAP and Take 5 records, and reporting HSES KPI progress monthly. The position supports proactive management through trend analysis, incident tracking, root cause monitoring, and timely closure of action items. The Senior HSES Admin also facilitates updates to HSES documentation and statistics across LGMS and Lamprell Connect platforms, prepares the Corporate Monthly HSES Scorecard, supports planning and rollout of HSES campaigns, and assists with staffing plans and corporate budget tracking. Additionally, the role ensures adherence to company HSES policies, procedures, and information security protocols while actively participating in yard walkthroughs, safety campaigns, and corporate HSES meetings.

- Prepare and distribute HSES communications across the Group, including Lessons Learned, Safety Alerts, Bulletins, and Toolbox Talks.
- Collate, maintain, and analyze company-wide HSES data such as SOAP and Take 5 records to enable proactive management response to adverse trends.
- Monitor and report the progress of HSES KPIs on a monthly basis to stakeholders.
- Maintain a centralized database of Group incidents, track root causes, and coordinate with HSES personnel to ensure timely closeout of action items.
- Facilitate updates to HSES documentation and statistics on LGMS / Lamprell Connect platforms and prepare the Corporate Monthly HSES Scorecard.
- Assist in organizing the annual HSES Management Review and Corporate Safety Steering meetings, and monitor completion of updates to HSES Activity Plans.
- Support planning and rollout of HSES campaigns, staffing plan management, and actively participate in yard walkthroughs and safety campaigns.
- Monitor Compass and ESS central control systems, address swipe errors, overtime issues, and ensure timely submission of HR deliverables in accordance with company protocols.
- Raise material requisitions in Oracle for HSES-related needs including equipment calibration, campaign materials, and medical supplies.
- Assist in preparing and tracking the HSES corporate budget and ensure adherence to all applicable information security policies and procedures.
Experience & skills
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar HSES administrative role within the GCC.
- High school diploma or equivalent; NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) completed or in progress.
- Strong understanding of HSES management systems and their implementation within scope of responsibility.
- Ability to support achievement of organizational HSES objectives, KPIs, and deliverables.
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills to convey technical HSES information accurately.
- Experienced in coordinating, executing, and communicating HSES administrative functions.
- Skilled in monitoring HSES operational statistics, supporting improvement initiatives, addressing project requirements, and facilitating HSES-related training and development.
- Proficient in accurate data management and report preparation related to HSES documentation.
- Demonstrates effective time management and organizational skills.
