Job description
A leading bank is seeking a bilingual Content Creator (English & Arabic) to support the revamp of its banking websites, with a strong focus on Islamic Sharia-compliant financial products. The candidate will be responsible for developing, editing, and localizing content across all website sections, ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and customer-centricity. This role requires close collaboration with UI/UX designers, product teams, and compliance experts to deliver engaging and optimized content that aligns with brand standards. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in financial terminology, particularly Islamic finance, and proven experience in creating bilingual digital content for banking or fintech platforms.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Create new content and revamp existing content across all website sections in English and Arabic.
- Draft, localize, and edit website content to ensure linguistic accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product owners, and subject matter experts to deliver user-centric content.
- Develop Sharia-compliant content for Islamic banking offerings (e.g., Sukuk, Murabaha, Takaful).
- Ensure all content adheres to regulatory, legal, and compliance standards applicable to banking websites.
- Optimize content for SEO, mobile readability, accessibility, and customer experience.
- Maintain and apply content governance guidelines and documentation.
- Add and manage content within Figma design files.
- Support the use of content management systems such as Sitecore to publish content.
Experience & skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a content writer in banking, finance, or fintech websites.
- Native or fluent proficiency in both English and Arabic (written and spoken).
- Strong understanding of Sharia-compliant financial products and terminology.
- Proven experience in creating and revamping bilingual website content.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms such as Sitecore is a plus.
- Ability to work in agile environments and manage multiple deliverables under tight deadlines.
- Experience in SEO, UX writing, and accessibility standards.
- Excellent attention to detail, editing, and governance of financial content.
