Job description
Chalhoub Group runs more than 950 stores and represents over 400 international names across luxury fashion, beauty, jewellery, watches and eyewear, and its Strategy function shapes where that business goes next. Reporting to the VP Strategy, this Manager works directly with C-Level executives on the Group's long-term vision. The strategic 3-year plan is a core piece of work, alongside annual budgeting with the Finance division and a regular read on operational and strategic performance. Category projects are yours to lead from scoping through to execution. Beyond those, strategic initiatives and ventures across sectors and regions come to you for evaluation and support. Good recommendations here rest on data that has been synthesised and challenged, and on market intelligence about global and regional luxury trends from the Intelligence team. Presenting that thinking clearly to senior leadership is a big part of driving decisions. A team reports to you as well, and building its analytical and strategic capability through coaching and training is expected. Expect to bring 6 to 8 years in corporate strategy or top-tier management consulting, an MBA or master's degree, strong financial modeling skills and solid knowledge of luxury, beauty and fashion retail.
