Job description
The Emirates Group is seeking a Technical Product Manager for its dnata Airport Operations team in Dubai. This role involves owning the full lifecycle of technical products within the airport operations domain, managing backlogs, engaging with cross-functional teams, and driving product adoption and innovation. The TPM will work closely with technical product owners, architecture and engineering teams, and external vendors to ensure that technical solutions are scalable, performant, and aligned with business goals. Leadership responsibilities include mentoring team members and participating in strategic planning and delivery demos.

Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with TPOs, peer groups, vendors, and IT stakeholders to deliver Program Increment Planning (PIs) and prioritise backlogs.
- Lead a team of TPOs to ensure the effective delivery of technology solutions.
- Work with architecture, engineering, and service management teams to balance backlogs for scalable and stable technology products.
- Ensure inclusion of Technical Debt, NFRs, and System Enablers in team backlogs.
- Participate in sprint and PI demos, contributing to stakeholder engagement and product adoption.
- Maintain quality and accuracy in the Product Catalogue, using metrics to improve product usage.
- Develop and mentor TPOs, contributing to professional development and growth within the TPM community.
- Manage risks and dependencies across product and team backlogs.
- Partner with product vendors to optimize product usage, upgrades, and minimize customisation.
- Promote adoption of vendor-supplied features through business process change.
Experience & skills
- Degree in a relevant domain.
- Certified in SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) or Agile Product Management (APM).
- 8+ years of total experience, including 3ā5 years as a Technical Product Manager or Product Owner.
- Proficient in tools supporting technical product management and software delivery.
- Strong stakeholder and team communication skills.
- Proven leadership experience in mentoring and coaching.
- Demonstrated domain or technical expertise.
- Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments.
- Familiarity with data analysis to inform product decisions.
- Experience managing product backlogs, risk, and delivery alignment with business goals.
