Job description
The Operations Executive for Amazon Now is responsible for managing and supervising end-to-end store operations, including overseeing last-mile delivery service partners (DSPs) across one large site or multiple smaller sites in the MENA region. The role focuses on driving operational efficiency, maintaining customer-facing metrics, cost targets, and safety standards. The position involves coaching, motivating, and evaluating associatesā performance, implementing Amazon policies consistently, and leading process improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and audits like 4M and 5S. The Operations Executive ensures a high level of operational excellence, supporting Amazon's mission to deliver fast and reliable service to customers.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily end-to-end operations for assigned Amazon Now site(s) while supervising store operations
- Ensure achievement of customer-facing metrics, adherence to cost targets, and uphold safety and morale of team members
- Drive performance management including coaching, feedback, and development plans for associates
- Continuously improve operational processes to sustain performance improvement
- Conduct 4M and 5S audits for assigned stores on a daily basis
- Serve as stand-in for Area Manager when required
- Implement Amazon policies fairly and consistently across the operations
Experience & skills
- Experience in customer-facing environment, warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of Excel
- Experience managing multiple projects with prioritization, planning, and time management
- Ability to troubleshoot and document findings effectively under pressure
- Knowledge of Six Sigma tools, Lean techniques, or PMP standards preferred
- Good people management skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- 1ā3 years of experience managing processes and people as a lead
