Job description
Saudi Aramco Expatriate Schools (SAES) educate the children of Aramco's expatriate community, and this Elementary-Intermediate Teacher post covers grade levels 3 to 8. Daily instruction is planned, delivered and evaluated with colleagues, aligned to the SAES curriculum and pitched at a developmentally appropriate level. Clear learning objectives are shared with students and parents, and progress is checked through multiple assessment methods with regular, high-quality feedback. Some students will need modified instruction or extra support, so social, emotional, behavioural and academic growth is watched closely. Principals supervise the role, and much of the work happens in partnership with other educators, paraprofessionals and parent volunteers. Accurate records on attendance, performance and conduct are kept, and Company and SAES policies apply in every classroom. Professional learning at regional, district and school level is ongoing. Candidates need a bachelor's or master's degree in education, a valid teaching certification for the relevant subjects and levels, 3 years of full-time teaching in a Pre-K to Grade 8 setting and excellent English.
