Job description
The role manages all documentation-related activities for Commercial & Private Lending segments at FAB. Responsibilities include preparing, reviewing, and validating credit facility documents, ensuring enforceability of securities, maintaining collateral records, and supporting regulatory/internal reporting. The position ensures that all documentation aligns with credit approvals, UAE legal requirements, and internal policies, while coordinating with relevant stakeholders to maintain compliance and mitigate operational risks.

Key responsibilities
- Review, prepare, and sign standard and negotiated facility documentation (FOL/TLA)
- Vet all security/support documents to ensure proper execution and signatory authenticity
- Manage rectification of legacy documentation gaps or deficiencies
- Validate and process approvals for deferrals/waivers of incomplete documents
- Maintain accurate collateral data in banking systems
- Monitor documentation deficiency reports and follow up for renewals/submissions
- Ensure safe custody and vault management of security documents
- Authorize security and collateral entries in the bank’s system
- Review approvals and conditions for permanent collateral release
- Support creation/release/amendment of securities, mortgages, charges with UAE authorities
- Coordinate with Credit Control Unit for activation or release of credit lines
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal frameworks, and regulatory reporting requirements
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 6–8 years of experience in Corporate Banking, with minimum 3 years in Corporate CAD
- Strong knowledge of corporate banking products and UAE legal/regulatory environment
- Proficiency in banking systems and MS Office (Excel, Word)
- Ability to work under pressure with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong English communication skills
