Job description
The Senior Platform Owner – Corporate Lending will be responsible for managing the nCino application within the core platform. This includes leadership, technology direction, application development, implementation, maintenance, and support of nCino and related business processes. The role involves coordinating with product engineers, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver projects in corporate credit appraisal and monitoring, aligning platform strategy with business objectives, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations."

Key responsibilities
- Participate in discussions with Corporate business to align business strategy and roadmap with platform strategy and roadmap.
- Engage periodically with business stakeholders to provide roadmap status and resolve issues affecting progress.
- Conduct periodic project boards to prioritize requirements backlog from corporate stakeholders.
- Perform stakeholder management across IT and clients.
- Serve as project internal escalation level.
- Ensure projects are aligned to and deliver against business objectives.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in accordance with defined quality management practices.
- Ensure maintaining data confidentiality.
- Contribute to yearly IT Roadmap with accurate project costings and estimates.
- Work with business representatives to ensure delivery aligns with business demand.
- Lead product teams in delivering world-class platform solutions.
- Ensure value-added strategic vendor partnerships and align vendor product/industry roadmap with business strategy.
- Acquire, groom, and retain talent for the platform.
- Motivate and lead a professional team while promoting diversity.
- Enable national leadership initiatives through grooming the right talent.
Experience & skills
- Graduate / Postgraduate in Computer Science, Finance, or related degree.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing Limits and expert knowledge of corporate credit appraisal.
- 4+ years of managerial-level experience with strong knowledge of related business processes.
- Very good understanding of corporate loan origination systems such as nCino.
- Excellent understanding of applications used for managing and maintaining limits.
- Strong knowledge of processes for credit management and institutional banking.
- General banking and business knowledge to guide implementations per bank strategy.
- Deep ENBD-specific knowledge of backend requirements and regulatory topics preferred.
- Excellent understanding of nCino, AutoRabit, credit risk, and corporate/commercial lending.
- Experience in implementing complex projects.
- Experience applying waterfall methodology and project management practices including capacity planning, vendor management, and development coordination.
- Familiarity with agile teams and testing practices.
