Job description
Etihad Airways is seeking a Business Development Analyst to join its regional Steering and Business Development Management teams. The role is responsible for driving B2B sales channel performance for an assigned portfolio of markets, working closely with sales leadership, frontline sales, revenue management, and other stakeholders. The analyst will proactively identify opportunities for revenue and RASK maximization through data analysis, monitor market competition, and support sales planning and execution. The role requires strong analytical skills, advanced Excel capabilities, and a business acumen aligned with Etihadās growth strategy.

Key responsibilities
- Proactively identify quality revenue and RASK maximization opportunities based on data analysis.
- Regular analysis and monitoring of market/competition for all segments and channels for assigned portfolio to identify threats and opportunities, with full commentary of performance drivers.
- Contribute to the creation of action plans for assigned portfolio of markets.
- Ensure that relevant market intelligence is regularly shared between local markets and HQ.
- Drive positive engagement with local sales leadership, frontline sales, revenue management, and other stakeholders.
- Support and implement analytical techniques, procedures, and systems to improve the evaluation of sales strategies and actions.
- Evaluate effectiveness of incentive/commission programs, economic evaluation of corporate agreements, private fares, and related programs.
- Maintain a log of key Sales actions taken and measure the impact of each action in terms of market share, revenue tracking, and incremental revenue estimation.
- Drive robust sales planning ensuring country plans are completed in accordance with global guidelines.
- Support and maintain quality assurance of Etihadās sales CRM, sales tools, and data sources.
Experience & skills
- University degree in a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 yearsā work experience in a related field.
- Strong team player with cultural awareness and understanding.
- Excellent analytical skills with a strong business acumen.
- Advanced Excel and data modelling skills.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong interpersonal skills.
